چکیده
Rapid urbanization and economic development in coastal regions have significantly increased nutrient pollution remarkably changed the phytoplankton community developed some species into bloom, resulting large losses serious threats to public health. Therefore, it is indispensable reveal shift abundance, phytoplankton’s environmental drivers. However, previous studies could not present details of drivers due samples being collected with low temporal resolution. Here, high-temporal-resolution (daily) were investigate influence factors on Qinhuangdao for 44 days. Phytoplankton communities showed a rapid succession, predominant genera changing order Skeletonema–Chaetoceros–Skeletonema–Thalassiosira. Similarly, Thalassiosira pacifica, Skeletonema costatum, Chaetoceros tortissimus, Chattonella marina identified as dominant abundant 0–1.27 × 107 cells·L−1, 0–9.34 106 0–6.49 0–3.64 respectively. Moreover, inflows facilitate succession community. Dissolved inorganic phosphorus (DIP) was found bloom top three species, i.e., tortissimus. Overall, our results provide observations its This contributes current understanding occurrence algae blooms supports management strategies control waters.

Daily variations of coastal marine phytoplankton populations were studied over a 31-day period in the northeastern Mediterranean, Bay of İskenderun. Sampling was conducted between 21 June and 22 July 2002. In addition to phytoplankton sampling, chlorophyll a and nutrient analysis, seawater temperature and salinity measurements were done. Surface water temperature fluctuated between 25.2-30°C. S...

The study of spatial and temporal variability of distribution of phytoplankton communities in Northern part of the Persian Gulf (Qeshm andLengeh Islands) was studied. In this study, five groups (47 genera) of phytoplankton include Bacillariophyceae, Dinophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Crysophyceae and Euglenophyceae were identified. The results showed that Diatoms group (79.6 %) and Rhizosolenia genus (...
